Responsibilities
- Transport heavy equipment to and from job sites.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues before transportation.
- Maintain accurate transportation logs in compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of heavy machinery.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as safety regulations.
- Coordinate with dispatchers and other team members as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on transport vehicles.
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Heavy Equipment Hauler or similar role.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience with heavy machinery and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of local and federal transportation regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as loading and unloading equipment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
